Uh, a different doctrine was preached, and when the Serpent found out his head was going to be bruised and that he could bruise the heel of Adam, he the Serpent, set out to cause havoc upon Adam and his seedline all in Scripture and even through today. This is where all the wicked Kings killed off the people (babies), and this is where the enemy has caused all the major conflicts in the line of Christ. This is why for instance, that only the people Noe and his fmily made it to the ARC - Serpent was doing his bidding to remove the SEED of ADAM who was to be KING as Serpent Knew Adam was KING, now he wanted to destroy the ONLY Legitimate RULER of planet EARTH. I guess he hated his punishment, hum?
